Competence-based Open Badges go hand-in-hand with the game industry Competence Map. Gamebadges project has created both role-specific hard skill badges, and soft skill badges, which are applicable for various game industry roles.
Open Badges are available in three levels:
– Bronze to demonstrate the level of graduates and juniors
– Silver to cover most of the independent professional level
– Gold to highlight the “guru level” competences in the industry
At the moment, the badges are being tested with our project partners. We’re now preparing the next round of testing for autumn, and we warmly invite any company or game education institution to take part.
